Speaker Bio:
B. Chandra is a distinguished Cost Accountant and Practising Company Secretary with over three decades of experience in corporate law and governance. A former officer of the Indian Company Law Service, she has held key roles including Registrar of Companies, Inspecting and Investigating Officer, and was part of the core team involved in drafting the Concept Paper on Company Law and the initial draft of the Companies Bill.

After taking voluntary retirement in 2008, Chandra established her practice, specializing in secretarial audits, corporate restructuring, and advisory on complex company law matters. She frequently delivers lectures to members and students of ICSI, ICAI, and the Madras Chamber of Commerce, where she also serves on the Expert Committee on Company Law.
